Welcome to Theatre 33’s podcast series Building Play. In each episode Theatre 33 artists will talk about the art and craft of playwriting. We'll discuss how we develop new work with our playwrights, actors, directors, designers, and dramaturges as we all focused on Building Play.Theatre 33, in residence at Willamette University, is a new play development company that helps Oregon/NW playwrights develop their new scripts from an initial workshop performance (lights, sound, props, set, costumes, and fully blocked with scripts in hand), to a world premiere full production. We are Oregon centric as evidenced by our name. Oregon was the 33rd state to join the union.
